  Excellent accommodation for the price in a beautiful and convenient location. The self catering apartment was kitted out with all necessary amenities and beautifully decorated. Diana and Vic were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome (Diana's scones are THE BEST!) and were very informative about the local area. Can't imagine anywhere nicer!

  I stayed here five years ago when I first visited the area. In the meantime I have fallen in love with the village, married and live here. Now, whenever I have visitors from the USA (my home country) I put them up at the Tythebarn House and they always rave about it and say it is the best B&B they have ever stayed at. Food, comfort, friendliness - can't be beat.

  One of the best breakfast's I have ever had! Everything made from scratch just superb! Vic and Diane's warmth are legendary, the decor is darling. It's convenient to all of the Lake District. Especially nice was the new wool carpet, very cozy. It was so nice to have my own kitchen which was found well stocked with all that I needed during my stay. Do not hesitate to stay at this charming place!
